The Water Desk and journalists

The Water Desk is an independent, nonprofit journalism initiative. Talk to @mitchtobin and @yulsman at SEJ 2019 to learn more.

  • Grants: We offer support for journalists and media outlets covering water issues, with a focus on the Colorado River Basin and Western North America.
  • Collaborative network: We are building a network of journalists and media outlets to work together and cross-publish content.
  • Multimedia and data visualization: We offer original photos, video, and data visualizations for reuse, and help facilitate aerial photo shoots through our partners at Lighthawk.

Session at SEJ, Saturday October 12
